2023-24
Wrestled to a 5-8 record … made his dual debut in the dual against Pittsburgh … placed third at the Grand View open to begin the season, recording back-to-back falls to start the tournament … also wrestled at the Daktronics Open, Soldier Salute and Loras College Open … one tech fall and two pins on the season.
2022-23
Took advantage of the NCAA’s new redshirt rule which allows freshmen to wrestle on up to five countable dates and maintain their redshirt status … posted an 8-11 overall record, including 4-8 in countable matches … placed second at the Grand View Open with two falls to begin the season … went 4-0 to win the North Country Open … two bonus-point wins, both pins.
High School
Wrestled at Regina High School in Iowa City … compiled a 105-31 career record, including a 43-5 mark his senior season … 2020 fifth-place finisher at the state tournament … 2020 Bernie Saggau Award winner, given by the IHSAA to individuals whose leadership, service, and support of education-based activities reflect the values of the longest serving executive directors of the IHSAA … also played football and ran track … two-time state football runner-up with Regina.
