AMES, Iowa--Cory Wedel's 41-yard field goal in overtime as Wyoming rallied from a 15-point deficit for a 41-38 victory over Iowa State.
Trailing 38-23 midway through the fourth quarter, the Cowboys (2-0) scored a pair of touchdowns to force overtime. Marcus Harris caught a 12-yard touchdown pass -- his second of the game -- from Josh Wallwork and Greg Kuhn caught the two-point conversion to close Wyoming within 38-31.
Len Sexton's three-yard scoring run with 1:53 left tied the game at 38-38. Wallwork passed for four touchdowns.
Heisman Trophy candidate Troy Davis scored on a pair of touchdown runs from one yard out to help the Cyclones (0-1) to a 21-7 lead.
