JACKSONVILLE, Fla. ? Charissa Carlin tossed a complete game three-hitter and Sydni Jones drove in two runs as Iowa State beat Jacksonville, 4-1, Sunday morning at the JU Softball Complex.
Iowa State (8-1) scored two runs in the first and third innings and Carlin took care of the rest, giving up just one unearned run in the sixth inning to improve to 4-0.

The Cyclones added two more in the third.
Berry started the inning with a single and stole her eighth base of the season to advance to second. Courtney Wray singled and Berry scored on another miscue by the Jacksonville defense. Wray came into score on a sacrifice by Jones to give ISU a 4-0 lead.
The Dolphins (3-8) got a run in the sixth, taking advantage of two fielding errors by Iowa State, to close the gap to 4-1.
That was all the closer the Dolphins would get as Carlin sent them down in order in the seventh.
Wray and Berry had two hits for the Cyclones. Johnson's eight game hitting streak came to an end in the win.
