Cyclones Ready for Cy-Hawk Competition

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State gymnastics team will take the quick road trip to Iowa City and compete against the Iowa Hawkeyes in Carver-Hawkeye Arena at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow night.

Iowa State most recently scored a 195.425 during the Denver tri-meet which helped their National Qualifying Score by eliminating their 194.275 against Illinois State earlier this year.

Meaghan Sievers made her return to two of the Cyclone lineups scoring 9.900 on floor and vault. Molly Russ and Sophia Steinmeyer both tied career highs during the Denver meet. Steinmeyer posted a 9.875 on vault, while Russ earned a 9.875 on floor. Natalie Horowitz also impressed scoring career highs of 9.800 on bars and 9.775 on floor while closing for Iowa State.
