AMES, Iowa -Â The 11th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones have added a match against CSU Bakersfield after the trip to Arizona State was canceled because of Covid within the Sun Devils program. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum and will be available on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

KEY STORYLINES
-In the latest set of team national rankings, Iowa State moved up to 11th in the NWCA Coaches Poll. The Cyclones also cracked the top 10 in the Intermat dual rankings, coming in at eighth.
-The Cyclones opened the 2022 portion of the schedule with a 56-0 victory over Northwest Kansas Technical College. Iowa State tied a school record with seven falls in the match and earned bonus points at nine of the 10 weight classes.
-Iowa State went 3-1 in duals in the 2021 portion of the schedule, picking up a win over 15th-ranked Purdue and the only loss coming against top-ranked Iowa.
-Nine Cyclones competed at the David H. Lehman F&M Open over the weekend. Austin Kraisser and Julien Broderson each finished second, while Cam Robinson finished sixth.
-Iowa State's last NCAA Division I opponent was Purdue, as the Cyclones beat the 15th-ranked Boilermakers 23-13 in Humboldt, Iowa on Dec. 19. Iowa State won six of the final seven matches for the victory.
-The victory over Purdue was the 200th career win for Iowa State Head Coach Kevin Dresser. In his fifth year at Iowa State, Dresser picked up his 40th victory as a Cyclone while adding to his 160 victories as head coach at Virginia Tech (2006-17).
