AMES, Iowa - No. 13 Iowa State will look wrap up a 2--0 week on Saturday at Texas Tech in a 12:30 p.m. contest against the Lady Raiders. After losing two last week, the Cyclones got back on track with a 77-62 win over Kansas Wednesday night at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones hit 11 3-pointers en route to moving to 17-3 on the season.

KEY STORYLINES
-With a win on Saturday, ISU would have at least 18 wins in its first 21 games for the fourth time in program history and the first time since 2004-05.
-A win would also put the Cyclones at 7-2 in league play, and be the seventh time Iowa State has won at least seven of its first nine conference games.
-A victory would also give the Cyclones seven in January for the fifth time in program history and for the first time since 2001, when ISU got eight January victories.
-ISU's efforts were recognized during the first NCAA Women's Basketball Selection Committee Top 16 Reveal, with the Cyclones checking in at No. 10.
-On Wednesday against Kansas, Ashley Joens got her 10th double-double of the season and 41st of her career with a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds.
-Joens, the 2021 Cheryl Miller Award winner, is one of five players nationally averaging at least 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game this season.
-Joens is circling in on becoming Iowa State's all-time leading scorer, entering Saturday's contest 84 points away from Angie Welle's (1998-02) school record of 2,149 career points.
-Joens has 53 3-pointers on the season, with her, Lexi Donarski (54) and Aubrey Joens (50) being the only trio of teammates in the country with at least 50 treys each on the season.
-Emily Ryan leads the Big 12 and ranks third nationally with 6.7 assists per game. Against West Virginia on Jan. 2, Ryan tied Iowa State's school record with 16 assists.
LAST TIME OUT
-No. 13 Iowa State got back into the win column on Wednesday night with a 77-62 victory over Kansas at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones hit 11 3-pointers, leading for over 39 minutes in the contest.
-Ashley Joens recorded her 10th double-double of the season, posting a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds while playing all 40 minutes.
-Emily Ryan also played 40 minutes, and just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine assists.
-Aubrey Joens broke out of her scoring slump by scoring 16 points, which included four 3-pointers, and grabbing six rebounds.
-Lexi Donarski finished with 14 points and put her typical lockdown defense on KU's leading scorer, Holly Kersgieter, who had just eight points.
