Cyclone Student-Athletes Have Strong Fall Semester In Classroom

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State student-athletes had another strong semester in the fall 2022 term. Student-athletes across all sports combined for a semester GPA of 3.20 and own a cumulative GPA of 3.22.

A total of 43 student-athletes posted a perfect 4.0 GPA while 176 registered a mark of 3.50 or higher. Iowa State also had 316 with a GPA of 3.00 or higher. The fall semester saw 161 make the Dean's List and 349 become Cyclone Scholar-Athletes. In addition, 12 teams recorded a GPA of above 3.0.

In December it was previously announced the Big 12 Conference named 66 Iowa State student-athletes to the Fall Academic All-Big 12 Team. Student-athletes earned 52 first-team selections and 14 second-team honors.
