In Fort Worth:Â TCU Leads 6-4
Fennelly vs. TCU:Â 12-10
FOUR THINGS
3 – Wins needed by head coach Bill Fennelly to reach 750 for his career. Of those 747, 581 have come during his tenure at Iowa State (the other 166 at Toledo).
57 – Career double-doubles for Ashley Joens after her 26-point, 15-rebound showing against Kansas on Saturday.
303 – Career 3-pointers made by Ashley Joens. She is the sixth player in Big 12 history to make at least 300 career 3-pointers.
879 – The Cyclones have made at least one 3-point field goal in an NCAA-record 878 consecutive games, a streak which encapsulates the entirety of the Bill Fennelly Era at Iowa State.
KEEPING IT CLEAN
Iowa State point guard Emily Ryan had one of her cleanest games of the season against Kansas and led the Cyclones to one of their cleanest of the season as well. Ryan had six assists and no turnovers against KU, her first zero turnover game of the season. As a team, ISU committed just nine turnovers, its second-cleanest game of the season only behind a seven turnover effort against SIUE on Nov. 29.
I(T)'Z ABOUT TIME!
Izzi Zingaro has seen her role increase dramatically since the season-ending injury to Stephanie Soares and she has made the most of the opportunity with some of the best performances of her Iowa State career. Against Kansas, the Canadian recorded a career-high 11 points while bringing down six rebounds.
