AMES, Iowa – Iowa State falls to Central Michigan at the Beauty and the Beast meet, 194.800-195.600. The Cyclones were led by Maddie Diab, who put up another fantastic floor performance, scoring a 9.950. Kaia Parker posted a 9.850 on both vault and floor. Sophomore Josie Bergstrom also scored a 9.850 on vault.
Vault – 49.050
Iowa State led the Beauty and the Beast meet off strong with a 49.050 on vault. Bergstrom and Parker both led the way for the Cyclones, each scoring a 9.850. Emilie Hong notched a score of 9.800. Senior Laura Cooke scored a 9.775 on her first vault as a Cyclone.
Bars – 48.150
The Cyclones were led by Cooke on bars, who posted a 9.800. Natalie Horowitz scored a 9.725.
Beam – 48.425
Junior Lauren Thomas led the Cyclones on beam, who scored a 9.800. Hannah Loyim notched a 9.725, and Kelsey Boychuk posted a 9.700.
Floor – 49.175
Iowa State was again led by Diab, who scored a 9.950, a season-high for the senior. This also marks the fourth time Diab has scored 9.900 or higher on the season. Cooke and Parker both posted scores of 9.850.
