DENTON, Texas – Iowa State took first place in their second meet of the weekend against Texas Woman's University and New Hampshire.
The Cyclones were led by senior Maddie Diab who posted a 9.900 on floor, Laura Cooke who logged scores of 9.850 and 9.800 on bars and floor respectively, and sophomore Josie Bergstrom who scored a 9.850 on vault and a 9.800 on beam.
Bars – 48.975
On bars, Iowa State was led again by Cooke who posted a 9.850. Senior Loganne Basuel put up a 9.800. Three Cyclones scored a 9.775, Hannah Loyim, Lauren Thomas and Natalie Horowitz.
Beam – 48.675
The Cyclones were led by Basuel on beam, who logged a score of 9.825. Bergstrom posted a 9.800, and Lauren Thomas scored a 9.775.
Floor – 48.975
Iowa State scored a meet-high 48.975 on floor, led by senior Diab's score of 9.900. Kaia Parker notched a 9.850. Cooke posted a 9.800.
Vault – 48.775
The Cyclones were led by Bergstrom and Emilie Hong, who each had scores of 9.850. Parker logged a score of 9.800. Iowa State's vault score of 48.775 was the highest of the meet.
