AMES, Iowa - No. 4 Iowa State returns to Hilton Coliseum for the first time since late November for matchups against Utah Valley and No. 15 Pittsburgh Friday and Sunday. ISU and Pitt will meet for the second time this season after the Cyclones edged the Panthers, 21-14, Dec.18 in Nashville, Tenn.

No. 4 Iowa State is fresh off a 2-0 west coast trip which saw the Cyclones secure wins over No. 21 Arizona State and California Baptist.
Iowa State hosts its first Big 12 dual of the season Friday against Utah Valley. The Cyclones are 36-11 in Big 12 duals under Kevin Dresser and 16-1 in the last three seasons.
ISU and No. 15 Pittsburgh meet for the second time this season on Sunday afternoon. The Cyclones prevailed over the Panthers, 21-14, on Dec. 18 at the Collegiate Duals. It was a tightly contested dual with Iowa State winning six bouts compared to Pitt's four.
Anthony Echemendia has taken his performance to another level in recent weeks. The Cuban has won six matches in a row, all with bonus points (4 MD, 2 TF).
Yonger Bastida has had a dominant start to the season. The Cuban is 14-0 with nine bonus-point wins, six top-20 victories and owns a 60:1 takedown ratio. Bastida is coming off a 4-3 victory over Arizona State's No. 5 Cohlton Schultz.
Cody Chittum picked up the first marquee win of his career Friday against Arizona State. He defeated No. 4 Jacori Teemer, 9-5. Chittum allowed an early takedown but responded with one of his own in the second period and followed it with a tough ride out. The Tennessee native was a hammer on top erasing a minute of Teemer riding time to finish the match with over 1:30 in his favor.
Iowa State wrestlers have pushed the pace and been aggressive on their feet this season. The Cyclones own a 345-96 takedown advantage over their opponents this season.
