NORMAN, Okla. – No. 36 Iowa State (9-15, 3-5 Big 12) placed 4th in the Big 12 Championships with their score of 196.350.
"I thought our performance was really special. I am so proud of how hard working this team is, and it has led to us being to where we are now. There was a lot of pressure on them tonight, and they came out and responded to it very well. We had so many gymnasts step up and I could not be prouder. Our season now continues and we have a chance to reach even more of our goals that we set." Head Coach Ashley Miles Greig said.
The Cyclones had a great bounce back meet this evening to secure their spot at regionals. They had many gymnasts step up, including Rachel Wilke who has become a consistent force in the beam lineup.
