NUMBERS OF NOTE
2 - J.R. Singleton and Kenard Snyder rank among the Big 12's Top 10 in sacks with two each.
4 - Iowa State has four offensive drives this season that have resulted in a score for the Cyclones in less than 1:00 (3 TDs, 1 FG).
5 - Four Cyclones combined for five rushing touchdowns last weekend against Arkansas State. Rocco Becht snuck one in while Carson Hansen found pay dirt twice. Freshmen tailbacks Dylan Lee and Aiden Flora each added scores to make it the first time since 2016 (vs. Texas Tech) that Iowa State scored five touchdowns on the ground in a game.
29 -Â Becht has 29 career touchdown passes, already the seventh-most in school history and four behind Alex Epsinoza.
CAMPBELL TIES MAC
Head coach Matt Campbell has led the Cyclones to 56 wins, tying him with Dan McCarney for the school record. Among Big 12 coaches at their current schools, Campbell's 56 wins are the fourth-most.
Campbell is in his ninth season leading the Cyclone program, the third-longest tenured coach in ISU history and tied for the third-longest active tenure in the Big 12 Conference. In school history, only McCarney (1995-2006) and Clay Stapleton (1958-67) had longer tenures.
JAY-SQUARED
Rocco Becht's favorite tandem - Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel - have made it clear they are one of the nation's best pass-catching duos. Higgins extended his streak with a touchdown reception to five-straight games, matching the school record and the nation's active lead while Noel saw his streak snapped at four games last weekend. Noel has caught a pass in 35 consecutive games, the nation's fifth-longest active streak.
PORTER IS SPECIAL
Darien Porter hangs his hat on contributing to his team in any way possible, made evident by his switch from wide receiver to defensive back after his third season on campus, and has turned himself into one of the best special team players in the nation.
Last weekend against Arkansas State, Porter blocked his fourth career punt, becoming the nation's active leader and one of just seven players since 2012 to block at least four punts in their career. The Bettendorf, Iowa native also had two interceptions in the Cy-Hawk game three weeks ago.
Darien Porter has now blocked a punt in four consecutive seasons.@DarienPorter10
