3 – Iowa State has three players that rank in the Top 50 nationally for assists: Jada Williams (17), Addy Brown (15) and Reese Beaty (12).
16 – The Cyclones were picked 16th in the Week 2 Associated Press national poll. It marks the 196th week in program history that ISU has been ranked as a Top 20 team, all in the Bill Fennelly era.
50 – Four of Iowa State's five starters (Arianna Jackson, Kenzie Hare, Addy Brown, Audi Crooks) are shooting 50 percent or better from the floor through ISU's first three games. The starting five are shooting 56.4 percent (62-110) as a group and 40 percent from 3-point range.
70 – Audi Crooks has scored in double figures in 70 straight games. It marks the longest streak by a Cyclone women's basketball player and longest active streak in NCAA women's basketball. Crooks also holds the longest streak by a Big 12 women's basketball player since Brittney Griner's 116-game run from 2010-2013.
SERIES NOTES
Iowa State and Valparaiso meet for the first time in program history. Valpo is one of three first-time opponents ISU will face during the 2025-26 campaign. The Cyclones will also welcome Norfolk State (Nov. 16) and Mercyhurst (Nov. 23) to Hilton Coliseum for the first series meetings this season.
LAST TIME OUT
Iowa State cruised to a 99-34 win over Sacred Heart on Sunday in Hilton Coliseum. Audi Crooks led the Cyclones with 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting to go along with four rebounds and two assists. Addy Brown had a near double-double, finishing with 12 points and nine rebounds. Brown was efficient, going 4-of-5 from the floor and 2-of-2 from beyond the arc and at the free throw line. Jada Williams was limited with early foul trouble but still managed to pass out a career-high eight assists. ISU's defense limited SHU to 34 total points and just three in the second period, the second lowest opponent field goal percentage of the season by quarter at 8.3 percent (1-12 FG).
CYCLONES GARNER PRESEASON ATTENTION
Iowa State's trio of Addy Brown, Audi Crooks and Jada Williams has received national attention in the preseason, appearing on several watch lists and collecting preseason honors. Brown and Crooks were voted to the All-Big 12 Preseason Team and appeared on the Naismith Trophy Preseason and USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch lists. When the Naismith Starting 5 award watch lists were announced, Williams (Nancy Lieberman Award), Brown (Katrina McClain Award) and Crooks (Lisa Leslie Award) were all three selected to their respective position 20-woman watch lists.

The Cyclones have been phenomenal at home during Bill Fennelly's tenure, compiling a 399-84 record (.826) in Hilton Coliseum, including a 198-9 mark against regular-season non-conference opponents. Iowa State has gone undefeated at home three times, most recently during the 2004-05 season. ISU finished the 2024-25 non-conference home slate with a spotless 8-0 record. It was the 23rd time Iowa State has gone undefeated in Hilton against regular-season non-conference opponents during head coach Bill Fennelly's 30 seasons.
