October Student-Athletes of the Month Named

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State Athletics Academic Services has named the October student-athletes of the month. The recipients are Paul Beauvy, Jessie Clemons, Cassidy Corcione and Eric Mulder.
Paul Beauvy, Men's Golf
Beauvy is a current senior on the golf team. Last season, Beauvy qualified for the NCAA Regional and was named to the PING All-Central Region Team. At Big 12 Championships, he led the team in scoring tying for 23rd. The golfer is a multi-time CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-Big 12 First Team member.
Jessi Clemons, Softball
Clemons is in her sophomore year, following one of the best freshman campaigns in program history. Clemons led the team in five categories: in batting average (.367), hits (65), doubles (13), RBI (36) and total bases (95). As a utility player, Clemons made starts at first, second, shortstop, center field, right field, and designated player. Clemons earned many academic awards her first year out including becoming an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.
Cassidy Corcione, Soccer
Corcione is a sophomore defender for the Cyclones. Prior to ISU, Corcione had a pair of assists and one shot on goal at Michigan State. Academically, Corcione is a Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
Eric Mulder, Men's Basketball
Mulder is a forward in his first season as a Cyclone. Last season at Purdue Fort Wayne, Mulder led the nation in two-point field goal percentage shooting at 78.4 percent. He averaged 8.4 points and 6.7 rebounds, and had a season-high 15 points and 11 rebounds. Mulder was named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll three times.
