Iowa State meets Sacred Heart for the second time in program history and the first time since a December 2016 matchup. The Cyclones won in Hilton Coliseum against the Pioneers, 76-56, behind 20 points from Seanna Johnson and 13 from Jadda Buckley. Bill Fennelly has a 1-0 career record against SHU head coach Jessica Mannetti.

No. 14 Iowa State picked up its fifth consecutive win in Hilton Coliseum, defeating Southern 85-58 on Wednesday night. Audi Crooks led ISU with 29 points, the 69th consecutive game she has scored in double figures and scored her 1,500th career point in the effort. Crooks added a game-high 14 rebounds for her first double-double of the season and 19th of her career. Jada Williams joined in double figures with 17 points on an efficient 8-of-13 shooting from the floor. ISU used a 15-0 run in the 2nd quarter, sparked by back-to-back 3-pointers from Sydney Harris, to take down the Jaguars.

CYCLONES GARNER PRESEASON ATTENTION
Iowa State's trio of Addy Brown, Audi Crooks and Jada Williams have each received attention in the preseason, appearing on several watch lists and collection preseason recognition. Brown and Crooks were voted to the All-Big 12 Preseason Team and appeared on the Naismith Trophy Preseason watch list. When the Naismith Starting 5 award watch lists were announced, Williams (Nancy Lieberman Award), Brown (Katrina McClain Award) and Crooks (Lisa Leslie Award) were all three selected to their respective position 20-woman watch lists.
