ISU will see a familiar foe in Northern Iowa on Sunday. Dating back to the first meeting in 1924, ISU-UNI is the fifth-most contested dual in program history. The Cyclones have won five-consecutive duals, and seven of the last 10, against the Panthers.
This will mark the third time in the last four years the Cyclones have hit the road for the ISU-UNI dual. Iowa State has won the last two matchups at UNI.

KEY STORYLINES
- Iowa State got back on track with dual victories against Arizona State and No. 15 Pittsburgh last weekend.
- Iowa State has used 12 unique lineup combinations in 14 duals this season and 25 different wrestlers have appeared in a dual.
- The bottom half of Iowa State's lineup has been rounding into form as of late. Paniro Johnson (149) owns a team-best 13-match winning streak while Evan (133) and Jacob (141) Frost have both won 10 in a row. Cody Chittum (157) has won 10 of his last 11 matches.
- Johnson, who owns dual victories at 149, 157 and 165 pounds this season, is 10-0 since taking over the 149-pound spot. Johnson owns a 24:1 takedown ratio this season.
- The Cyclones have been bit by the injury bug this season. ISU has lost four starters, including three past All-Americans, to season ending injuries: Casey Swiderski (141/149), Anthony Echemendia (141/149), Connor Euton (165) and Yonger Bastida (285). Kysen Terukina (125) remains sidelined due to a knee sprain suffered at the Cyclone Open. Cody Chittum (157) and Evan Bockman (184) both missed ISU's duals last weekend due to illness.
- Daniel Herrera has made the most of his opportunity with Bastida out of the lineup. He is 19-10 on the season with 13 bonus-point victories (7 WBF, 5 TF, 1 MD). Herrera has dropped four-consecutive matches, albeit all to ranked opponents. The freshman lost close to ASU's No. 5 Cohlton Schultz, 3-0, and Pitt's No. 13 Dayton Pitzer, 5-3, last weekend.
- Aiden Riggins (165) and MJ Gaitan (174) have both won three of their last four matches.
- Kevin Dresser preaches a high-paced, entertaining style of wrestling and encourages his athletes to give fans their money's worth. Nearly half of Cyclone wrestlers' wins this season have come with bonus points (50-of-110, 45.4%).
FOUSEK COMES UP BIG
Carter Fousek filled in at 157 pounds for a sick Cody Chittum last weekend against Arizona State and Pittsburgh. Fousek was originally scheduled to wrestle a 149-pound exhibition match Friday against the Sun Devils but received the call around lunchtime that Chittum would be unable to wrestle.
Fousek went to Subway and ordered two sandwiches to bulk up for a 157-pound weigh-in. After falling behind early in the match, he went on to earn a crucial third-period fall over Pierson Manville, bringing Hilton Coliseum crowd to its feet.
