AMES, Iowa – Iowa State coach Matt Fannon announced the signing of Natalie Hoover Thursday afternoon, rounding out the team's 2025 high school recruiting class.
Hoover will join fellow prep signees Sophie Forrester, Grace Luedde, Alaina Villa and Megan Walters in the fall of 2025 for their freshmen campaign.
"Hoover is a hard-working, old-school center forward who works selflessly for her team and will fit well into our style of play," says Fannon. "Her movement off the ball helps her create plenty of chances in front of goal."
Hoover is a forward who hails from Dublin, Ohio, and who attended Dublin Jerome High School. In her lone year of high school soccer, Hoover led Dublin Jerome to a 13-0-3 record and was named the team's offensive player of the year.
She tallied nine goals and nine assists in her senior season, as she helped the Celtics make the regional semifinals.
Hoover, like the other four high school signees, will look to make an immediate impact for the Cyclones this August when the 2025 season kicks off.
