Iowa State Announces 2025 Soccer Schedule

AMES, Iowa – In coordination with the Big 12's conference schedule announcement, Iowa State has unveiled its complete 2025 slate. The Cyclones are scheduled to play 18 regular season contests and one exhibition, with 10 coming at the Cyclone Soccer Complex.

ISU will open the 2025 regular season with seven consecutive non-conference foes before switching to conference play in mid-September. The non-conference slate is highlighted by perennial AAC power Memphis and in-state foe Iowa, while the Big 12 conference slate features five teams who made the NCAA postseason last year.

The 2025 campaign unofficially begins August 8 with a home exhibition contest against Omaha. A week later, the season kicks off with an Aug. 14 home contest against Portland State in a return game from last year's road trip to Portland.

Following its season-opener, Iowa State will hit the road to head to Creighton for an August 21 date with the Bluejays. The month of August ends with a pair of home contests, as ISU will host both Drake (8/24) and Memphis (8/31).

The Cyclones are set to compete six times in September, three times at home and three times on the road. The month starts in Iowa City for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series (9/4) before the team returns home to face North Dakota. A road trip to UNI closes the non-conference slate on Sept. 11.

Big 12 play starts with Arizona on Sept.18, as the two teams will meet as conference foes for the first time. Following the Big 12 home opener, the team heads west to Colorado (9/25) before closing the month at home against Texas Tech (9/28).

October is Iowa State's busiest month, as the team is set to face eight opponents. October begins with a two-game trek to Texas to face both Baylor (10/2) and TCU (10/5). The Cyclones then return to the CSC to host a three-game homestretch – its longest of the season – as Kansas (10/10), Houston (10/16) and Arizona State (10/19) are all set to come to Ames.

The regular season concludes with a three-game road stint for the Cyclones. ISU will head east for a pair of contests at West Virginia (10/23) and Cincinnati (10/26) before returning to the Midwest to face Kansas State (10/30).

The Big 12 Soccer Championship is set to begin on Monday, Nov. 3, and will end on Saturday, Nov. 8. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be held at TCU, while the championship will be hosted by Baylor. New this season, the Big 12 will only take the top eight finishing schools to the conference tournament.

ISU will not match up with conference opponents BYU, Oklahoma State, UCF or Utah this season.
