Cyclones Conclude Day One of the Tiger Collegiate Invitational

COLUMBIA, Missouri - The Cyclones are currently in twelfth place with several more holes to go in the second round of the Tiger Collegiate Invitational. Iowa State looks to make a big comeback to defend their title they won at last year's tournament.

Paul Beauvy leads the way for ISU, sitting in a tie for 25th, shooting four over-par with eight holes left in the second round. Beauvy has a team-high five birdies so far, and has the lowest score on Par 5's in the field (-3). Luke Gutschewski is tied for 41st (+6), and has two birdies through his one and a half rounds of play.

Zach May is currently tied for 47th and has carded two birdies. Owen Sawyer is tied for 71st place and has totaled two birdies on the first day.

Dianchao Wu is tied for 71st and has carded three birdies so far. Luke Metcalf is playing as an individual and is currently tied for 64th with four birdies. Metcalf is even-par so far in the second round.

Nebraska is on top of the team leaderboard through the first day of play. The Cornhuskers are six over-par so far. Missouri's Mattias Varjun leads the individual race, currently sitting one under-par.

Teams will wrap up the second round tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. CT, with the final round to follow immediately after.
