Drake Exhibition Primer

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State has its final tune up hosting Drake for an exhibition this Saturday, Aug. 23 at 9 a.m. Admission is free.
There will be no broadcast or live stats at the exhibition, and the teams will play for 90 minutes. A student watch party for the Aer Lingus Classic will follow. Doors will open at 8 a.m. and free Clone Cone vouchers will be given to the first 250 students.
Last season, Drake went 20-10 including a 16-2 conference record. ISU and Drake last met in September of 2023, where the Cyclones extended the series win streak to 13.
Regular season is one week away, beginning August 29-30 at the Bobcat Invitational in Athens, Ohio. Iowa State opens action at home Sept. 12 and 14 with the Cyclone Invite.
