AMES, Iowa – Iowa State track and field hosts the Iowa State Classic this Friday at Lied Rec, the final indoor home meet of 2026.

Events begin at 11 a.m. with the men's invite weight throw, and running events start at noon. Events continue through the men's 4x400m relay at 6:20 p.m. Admission to all home meets is free.
Last week, Iowa State men and women recorded 13 top 10-ranked program performances in nine events. Three Cyclones put up top 20-ranked national marks led by Robin Kwemoi Bera's 7:43.87 3,000m time to currently rank eighth. Devan Kipyego's 3:54.37 mile time ranks 10th in the nation, while Rachel Joseph's 52.87 400m ranks 19th.

Iowa State splits up next week for the Valentine Invite in Boston and the Tyson Invite hosted by Arkansas Feb. 13-14.
