AMES, Iowa – Iowa State has three meets this week with action in California and Texas Thursday through Saturday.

UCSD Triton Invite
April 3-4, Triton Track Stadium, La Jolla, Calif.
Multi-event athletes Maia Denge-Hagen and Zola N'Douma-Mona will be the first Cyclones in action competing in the heptathlon at the Bobcat Invite & Multi hosted by Texas State. The first four events are Thursday, and final three take place Friday.
A crew of distance men head to the Stanford Invite to race Friday night. Quinton Orr runs his first steeple of the year, while four Cyclones are entered in the 10,000m. Steeplechase sections begin at 7:43 p.m., with the invitational at 8:09 p.m. CT. The invitational men's 10,000m is slated for 11:25 p.m.
Throwers also to travel to California to compete at the UCSD Triton Invite Friday through Saturday in the hammer, discus, shot put and javelin. The discus and shot put will have elite and open sections. Competitors in the open discus and shot put will take four throws rather than the top nine moving onto the final three rounds after three preliminary throws.
Next up for the Cyclones is the Jim Duncan Invite April 10-11.
