Van Gorp Selected for Women's U21 National Team

AMES, Iowa – Rachel Van Gorp was selected as a member of the 2026 Women's U21 National Team, USA Volleyball announced Monday.

In February, Van Gorp traveled to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado as one of 62 athletes for the invite-only Women's National Team Collegiate Training. Over three days, Van Gorp was evaluated within the high-level training environment in the USA Volleyball National Team system.

Van Gorp earned one of just 27 selections for the U21 National Team, and is one of four liberos to make the team. The 2025 AVCA Libero of the Year will train for the U21 Pan Am Cup June 26-July 5 in Columbus, Ohio. Athletes will then be selected for the competition set for July 7-12 at the Covelli Center on the Ohio State University campus.
