COLUMBUS, OH- After two rounds at the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational, the Cyclonitas sit alone in third place, just four strokes back from the leader, Ohio State. Iowa State shot an 11-over in their first round and came back with a round two score of six-over. With one round to go, the Cyclones will look to put their foot on the gas to try and get their third win in a row.Â
Nichakorn Pinprayoon is getting used to being at the top as she sits in a tie for fifth after shooting a round one score of three-over and following it up with an even round two. Pinprayoon snagged six birdies in her first couple rounds, and with one round to go, Pinprayoon will look to get her third win of the year. Pammy Chookaew was consistent in her day with two scores of two over, putting her in a tie for ninth. Chookaew also grabbed three birdies in her rounds.
Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn sits in a tie for 11th after shooting a three-over round one and a two-over round two. Chul-Ak-Sorn tied for the team's high number of birdies with seven after her first two rounds as well as grabbing the only eagle for the team. Isabella Yan matched Chul-Ak-Sorn, as she also sits in a tie for 11th after shooting an identical three-over round one score and two-over round two score. Yan also snagged seven birdies as she heads into her final round.
Alexandra Vidal rounded out the Cyclonitas with a six-over round and a four-over round, putting her two-round total at 10-over, placing her in a tie for 27th.Â
