AMES, Iowa - For the second time in school history, Iowa State sends two golfers to an NCAA Regional. Seniors Paul Beauvy and Zach May look to qualify for their first NCAA Men's Golf Championship appearance at the NCAA Columbus Regional. The tournament tees off Monday morning on May 18th, where one round will be played each day through Wednesday, May 20th. Beauvy or May will need to be the low individual not among the five teams advancing to qualify for the NCAA Men's Golf Championship.

COURSE INFORMATION
Located in central Columbus, The Ohio State University Golf Club is rated as one of the top collegiate courses in the nation by Golf Channel. Being called home to the University's men and women's golf teams, The Ohio State University Golf Club hosts numerous events such as the Kepler, Lady Buckeye, AJGA, most notably, the Korn Ferry Tour's Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship.
KEY STORYLINES
- Beauvy and May bring Iowa State's total to 13 student-athletes to be selected to an NCAA Regional in program history. Beauvy qualified for his first NCAA Regional last year at the NCAA Urbana Regional, where he finished in a tie for 11th (-4).
- This season, Beauvy led the team in scoring (70.94), the fifth-best single season stroke average in ISU history, as well as leading the Cyclones in birdies (112). Beauvy is currently ranked No. 181 in the country.
- The senior from Saint-Alban, France finished in the top-10 five times this season, including his second tournament win of his career at the Gopher Invitational (-8) to start the year. Beauvy holds a 71.52 career stroke average, the best in program history.
- May, who has qualified for his first NCAA Regional of his career, was second in scoring this season for ISU at 71.69, a career-best mark. May is currently ranked No. 245 in the country.
- The senior from Christchurch, New Zealand placed in the top-3 three times this season. May tied for second at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational (-6), placed third at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate (-7), and tied for third at the Tiger Collegiate (-3).
