Gonzalez Named to Puerto Rico National Team Preliminary Roster

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State outside hitter Nayeli Gonzalez has been selected by the Puerto Rico Volleyball Federation for the Puerto Rico Senior Women's National Team training program.
Gonzalez earned her spot on the national preliminary roster and will begin training later this month under the guidance of the national coaching staff. Gonzalez works toward the opportunity to make the national team that will compete at the 2026 NORCECA Women's Final Four.
The event will be held June 3-8 at the Salvador Dijols Arena in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Gonzalez was one of 12 outside hitters chosen on the preliminary roster.
