AMES, Iowa – Iowa State quarterback Jaylen Raynor is a nominee for the 2026 Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team, which recognizes college football players making a difference in their communities.

Raynor joined the Cyclone football program in January after transferring from Arkansas State.

In just a short time, Raynor has spent time visiting local schools and the Boys and Girls Club and positively impacting the Ames community.

The Winston-Salem, North Carolina native has also done hospital visits during his career.

Raynor and the Cyclones start the 2026 season at home on Sept. 5 against SEMO at jack Trice Stadium. Purchase tickets now by clicking here.
