Big 12 Announces 2027 Softball Schedule

AMES, Iowa – The conference portion of the 2027 Iowa State softball schedule has been released, the Big 12 announced Thursday afternoon.
The Cyclones will again compete in eight three-game Big 12 series spanning the final nine weeks of the regular season. ISU will host four programs, Texas Tech, Kansas, BYU and Utah, while traveling to Arizona, Houston, Oklahoma State and Arizona State.
ISU opens Big 12 action in Tucson across the weekend of March 12 before its conference bye week. The Cyclones then hit the road again to head to Houston to wrap up March.
Iowa State opens April with its home conference opener against back-to-back national runner-up Texas Tech (4/2-4) before heading to Oklahoma State (4/9-11). Three of Iowa State's final four conference series (Kansas, BYU and Utah) are at home, and the last road trip is back to Arizona to take on the Sun Devils (4/23-25).
The two Big 12 programs that Iowa State will not face this season are Baylor and UCF.
With only eight teams making the Big 12 Tournament, the championship will take place over three days (5/13-15) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
