DeBuhr (17-6) held the Cyclones to just four hits while striking six.
The Huskers got on the board in the first as an error on the Cyclones allowed two unearned runs to come across.
Devin Porter executed a squeeze play and Jamie Waldecker delivered a run scoring single to make it 2-0 Huskers after one inning of action.

The Cyclones had a scoring opportunity in the third, putting runners on first and second with one-out. Jessica Quade and Fallon Johnson had a hit in the inning but DeBuhr was able to get Alex Johnson to fly out to right field, ending the threat.
Amanda Bradberry and Alex Johnson each added hits for the Cyclones in the loss.
