INSIDE THE SERIES
Overall:Â First Meeting
FOUR THINGS
10 – Iowa State is at No. 10 in this week's AP Top 25. It marks the 12th-straight week that the Cyclones have been ranked inside the AP Top 10, the second-longest run in program history.
11 – Points needed by Ashley Joens to move past Baylor's Odyssey Sims for fourth in Big 12 history for career scoring. Joens enters Sunday's game with a school-record 2,523 career points.Â
870 – The Cyclones have made at least one 3-point field goal in an NCAA-record 870 consecutive games, a streak which encapsulates the entirety of the Bill Fennelly Era at Iowa State.
2,497 – Ashley Joens enters Tuesday's game with 2,497 career points to her name. Iowa State's all-time leading scorer can become the fifth player in Big 12 history to reach 2,500 points in her career.
DOUBLE-DOUBLING
Stephanie Soares has continued to make an impact as a Cyclone so far, recording her fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds at No. 16 Iowa on Wednesday night. In addition, Soares had four blocked shots to move up to 26 on the season, fifth in NCAA Division I this season.

LOCKDOWN LEXI
Being Iowa State's primary defender means Lexi Donarski gets some tall tasks throughout a season. On Wednesday, that meant taking the responsibility of guarding the nation's leading scorer in Iowa's Caitlin Clark. Donarski showed herself well, with the primary player she guarded throughout the contest going for 17 points on 6-of-19 shooting. Her work helped hold Clark to 19 points on the evening.
