September Student-Athletes of the Month Named

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State Athletics Academic Services has named Annie Hatch, Paige Nakashima, Jack Sadowsky and Demarion Watson as the September Student-Athletes of the Month.
Annie Hatch – Volleyball
Hometown: Mesa, Arizona
Hatch has totaled 845 kills to rank 22nd in ISU history and has earned both Big 12 Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors through her Cyclone career. This season, Hatch has put up four double-figure kill performances and was named the GCU Invite MVP. Hatch is an Academic All-Big 12 First Team member.
Paige Nakashima – Softball
Hometown: Mililani, Hawaii
Nakashima is coming off a strong freshman campaign, appearing in 27 games while making 14 starts. The infielder totaled nine hits including one home run, five RBI and three walks.
Jack Sadowsky – Football
Hometown: Batavia, Illinois
Sadowsky is currently in his freshman season and has recorded seven tackles with two being solos. In high school, he totaled 75 tackles in his senior campaign.
Demarion Watson – Men's Basketball
Hometown: Maple Grove, Minnesota
Watson will begin his sophomore campaign this season. The guard appeared in 29 games as a freshman and ranked second on the team with 15 blocked shots. Watson recorded season highs of seven points and 10 rebounds and put up a performance of two 3-pointers and two steals at No. 2 Kansas last season.
