MEDIA CENTER
Iowa State returns home to host TCU as the university holds its Jack Trice Legacy Game, presented by Nationwide. The game is the culmination of a year-long celebration of Jack Trice. ISU will wear throwback uniforms that have elements from Trice's era.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Overall: TCU leads 9-5
At Ames:Â Series tied 3-3
Campbell vs. TCU:Â 4-3
SERIES NOTE: Iowa State has won three of the last four meetings in the series, with last season's loss in Fort Worth the outlier … ISU has won the last three games in Ames by an average of 22 points … one connection in the game is ISU defensive lineman Trent Jones and TCU linebacker Namdi Obiazor, who were high school teammates at Minnesota powerhouse Eden Prairie High School.
BY THE NUMBERS
2 – 50-yard plays completed by Rocco Becht last Saturday at No. 14 Oklahoma, the first time the Cyclones had done so since 2021 (vs. WVU).
4 – Interceptions by safety Jeremiah Cooper this season, which lands him as the nation's leader entering this week's games.
9 – Touchdown passes thrown by Becht, the third-most by a freshman in school history and tracking to pass Brock Purdy's record of 16 … he is third nationally among freshmen in passing touchdowns.
123 – Career receptions for Jaylin Noel after making 12 catches for 194 yards and two touchdowns the last two games … he ranks 14th in school history and needs three catches to tie Jon Davis (2003-06) for 13th at the school.
