November Student-Athletes of the Month Named

AMES, Iowa – Evan Frost, Kalie Gose, Ashlyn Keeney and Rodgers Rotich have been named the November Student-Athletes of the Month, Iowa State Academic Services announced.
Evan Frost, Wrestling
Frost is off to an 8-1 overall start including a 4-0 record in duals to begin his redshirt freshman season. Most recently Frost finished runner-up as the Cyclones went on to take the title at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. Frost also picked up Big 12 Wrestler of the Week after taking the win over No. 8 Brody Teske out of Iowa.
Kalie Gose, Softball
Gose will begin her senior season in 2024 as an outfielder for the Cyclones. Through three seasons, Gose has played in 78 games, recording 38 hits, 15 runs and 15 RBI. Gose is also an Academic All-Big 12 Second Team member.
Ashlyn Keeney, Track and Field/Cross Country
Keeney completed her sophomore cross country season with a 42nd-place finish at Big 12 Championships and earned Big 12 Runner of the Week for taking the top placement at the Greeno-Dirksen Invitational. On the track as a freshman, Keeney became an all-time program performer in the 1,500m, indoor and outdoor distance medley relay and was part of the winning 4x1,600 squad at Drake Relays.
Rodgers Rotich, Track and Field/Cross Country
Rotich is fresh off earning All-America honors at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, taking 37th place. In the 2023 track season, Rotich scored in the outdoor 5,000m run and placed ninth in the indoor 5,000m at Big 12 Championships. Rotich is also a Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
