AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team showed that it is heading in the right direction with great improvement in season two under head coach Jaron Maestas.
The Cyclones finished the season 11-11 overall, a win improvement of plus-seven from a season ago, despite a roster that included just one senior to go along with two sophomores and five freshmen. Iowa State finished the 2024-25 campaign ranked No. 65 nationally.
Senior Anna Supapitch Kuearum wrapped up an outstanding career. She finished her career No. 11 in school history with 117 overall wins, while also breaking the ISU record with 17 career conference singles victories.
Freshman Julia Camblor spent most of the season at No. 2 singles and earned 25 singles wins, the fifth-most in school history and most by a freshman.
Iowa State opened the new Iowa State Tennis Facility, which features six indoor courts and six outdoor courts and provides the Cyclones with a dedicated home court advantage.
