AMES, Iowa -Â Fresh off of a second place finish at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate, the Cyclones head back to Arizona to compete in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. The tournament starts on Tuesday, March 31st at 9:30 a.m. CT, and will conclude on Wednesday, April 1st.

COURSE INFORMATION
The championship Australian Sand Belt-style golf course sits on 320 acres of land that was once part of Ak-Chin's original May 1912 reservation before it was removed by Presidential Executive Order in late 1912. Nearly 100 years later, the Community recovered its sacred land when it purchased the Brian Curley and Fred Couples designed facility after it was originally developed as a private club.
KEY STORYLINES
- Iowa State shot -17 to finish 2nd at the Bell Bank Collegiate, its highest finish this season. The Cyclones led the field in Par 5 scoring (-26), finished second in birdies (62) and in eagles (3), and had three golfers finish inside the top-10.
- Zach May finished in 3rd place (-7), marking his fourth top-3 finish of his career. May's 54-hole score of 209 tied the second-lowest of his career and is his lowest this season.
- Paul Beauvy tied for 10th (-4), his fourth top-10 finish this season and 14th of his career. Owen Sawyer also tied for 10th after shooting a 68 in the final round. Sawyer has finished top-10 in back-to-back tournaments, totaling it to four times this season and seven times in his career.
- Jackson McCommon eagled twice on Hole 1's Par 5, bringing him to four eagles this season and eight on his career.
- Julian Geerebaert led the entire field in Par 5 scoring at nine-under par. Geerebaert finished tied for 55th.
- With his eighth birdie, Beauvy surpassed the 400 birdie mark in his career. Beauvy has now carded 405 birdies as a Cyclone.
- Beauvy remains on top of the career stroke average list at 71.53. Sawyer moves into sole possesion of sixth place with a 72.57 scoring average.Â
- Beauvy now sits at the top of the single season stroke average list with a 70.73 scoring average this season.
