Competed in 32 contests, making one start against Texas … was used mainly as Iowa State’s primary pinch runner, where she scored five runs … took 15 at-bats, recorded four hits, including her first career home run against No. 1 Oklahoma … notched her first career double against Drake in February … Nelson earned two RBI and stole six bases (on seven attempts).

2022 (Junior)
Played in 37 games, primarily as a pinch runner … also made one start and registered three at-bats … stole 11 bases on 14 attempts … scored 15 runs … scored the tying run in the bottom of the seventh against Baylor in the Big 12 Championship First Round.

2021 (Sophomore)
Played in 31 games for the Cyclones, making three starts ... was primarily used as a pinch runner and outfielder ... collected three hits and nine score runs ... stole four bases on five attempts ... went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI in a win vs. Grand Canyon on Feb. 28.
