Cyclone Soccer Headlines
-Iowa State enters conference play with a battle-tested squad, now set to face a third-consecutive opponent ranked in the NSCAA top 25 nationally. The Cyclones battled No. 12 USC and No. 7 Florida in back-to-back matches to close out their non-conference slate, but were unable to pull off an upset.
-Their last time out, the Cyclones pushed the No. 7 Gators to the brink before falling 2-1 in overtime. Junior Klasey Medelberg gave Iowa State a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute on an assist from Hannah Cade and Merin Mundt before Florida found a second-half equalizer. UF's Deanne Rose scored a golden goal in the 96th minute to defeat ISU.
