AMES, Iowa — The Iowa State soccer team hits the road for one match this week, traveling to Texas to face the Longhorns. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday in Austin, Texas and will be broadcast on the Longhorn Network.
KEY STORYLINES
-Iowa State hits the road for just the second time in league play on Friday. For the Longhorns, it will be their third-straight home match at Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field. Texas will have back-to-back weeks of just one Friday match, as they will travel to Baylor for next week's match.
-Through 380 minutes of league play for Texas, the Longhorns have only trailed for 40 minutes. Those 40 minutes came in a 1-1 draw against TCU.
-Top Drawer Soccer recently released the Top 100 Freshman in the country, with Texas taking the top two spots in Lexi Missimo and Trinity Byars.
