AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team will travel down I-35 to Des Moines on Tuesday to face Drake at Buel Field. First pitch between the Cyclones and Bulldogs is set for 5 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
There are no ticket sales and public attendance is not allowed at Drake's Buel Field.

-Iowa State leads the all-time series vs. Drake, 76-24-0. Iowa State is 2-0 vs. the Bulldogs so far this season.
-Iowa State is 22-8 on the season, tied for the second-best 30-game start in program history. The Cyclones are receiving votes in both the NFCA Coaches and ESPN.com polls.
-The Cyclone offense is turning heads this season, ranking T-No. 2 nationally in doubles (51) and No. 5 in runs scored (194).
-Sami Williams became Iowa State's all-time career hits leader on March 26 vs. Oklahoma, breaking the record of 297 previously set by Brittany Gomez (2013-16).

- At 22-8, Iowa State is off to its best start in 42 years. The 1979 Cyclones hold the record for best 30-game start in ISU history at 24-6. The Cyclones also reached 22-8 in 1977 and 1978.
