AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team is set for a pair of games against in-state foes this week. The Cyclones will take on Drake on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Cyclone Sports Complex, followed by a Wednesday contest at UNI at 3 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+

- Iowa State is 77-24 all-time vs. Drake, including 3-0 in 2021. This is scheduled to be the last of four meetings against the Bulldogs this season.
-ISU is 42-38 all-time vs. UNI. Iowa State defeated the Panthers 12-2 on Feb. 12 in the season-opening UNI Dome Tournament.
-Sophomore Alesia Ranches was a bright spot vs. No. 7 Texas, going 4-of-10 with a double and two RBI on the weekend.
-Sami Williams now holds Iowa State's all-time records for hits (306) doubles (74), home runs (61), RBI (169), runs scored (191), games played (237) and at-bats (782).
-Iowa State enters this week with a record of 23-14 on the season. The Cyclones' .622 winning percentage is on pace to be the fourth-best in program history, and the best since 1987 (.640).
-Sophomore pitcher Ellie Spelhaug has already recorded three saves - T-No. 10 nationally.
-Iowa State has played 31 games away from home this season -Â the second-most of any team in the nation (New Mexico State).
-Carli Spelhaug has helped power the ISU offense in Big 12 play. The sophomore has a team-leading 3 homers in conference play.
-The Cyclone offense has garnered attention this season, and rightfully so. Iowa State currently ranks T-No. 6 nationally in doubles with 58 on the season. Sami Williams and Mikayla Ramos lead the way with 10 each.
-Karlie Charles boasts a 10-6 record on the season with an ERA of 3.55. Charles leads Iowa State in strikeouts (61) and innings pitched (98.2). She currently ranks third in the Big 12 in victories this season.
-Freshman speedster Milaysia Ochoa is No. 6 nationally among NCAA DI freshmen with 15 stolen bases on the season. Ochoa is 15-17 on stolen base attempts in 2021 to lead an ISU team with 57 steals total (No. 21 nationally & No. 5 among Power 5 teams).
