Cyclones Return Home to Face Baylor

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State women's soccer (3-7-3) returns home from its three-match road trip to face the Baylor Bears (3-7-2) on Thursday. Thursday marks the second-to-last home match of the season for the Cyclones.

Thursday will be the 30th matchup between Iowa State and Baylor. The Bears hold a 19-8-2 advantage over the Cyclones. Kickoff for Thursday's match is slated for 6 p.m. (CT) and can be streamed on ESPN+.

ISU's next home victory will be the program's 100th victory at home.

This past Sunday, the Cyclones fell to the #10 TCU Horned Frogs 3-0.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Baylor enters Thursday's contest with a 3-7-2 overall record and a 1-3-0 Big 12 record. The Bears came away with a 1-1 record after last week, Baylor defeated Kansas 3-2 and fell to Kansas State 2-1.

The Bears are led by Ashley Merrill and Reneta Vargas. Merrill and Vargas have accounted for six goals and 12 points this season.

The Cyclones will head to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State on Sunday, Oct. 16th. Kickoff on Sunday is scheduled for 1:00 p.m (C.T.) and can be streamed on ESPN+.
