Upcoming Event: Tennis versus Blue Gray National Tennis Classic on September 12, 2025 at All Day

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team is set to kick-off its fall season this weekend in the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Alabama. The Cyclones will bring four players to compete in the tournament.
The Cyclones will look to keep their progression going in year three under head coach Jaron Maestas.
BLUE GRAY NATIONAL TENNIS CLASSIC
The tournament will feature two different draws, and each program will have four players paired off in groups of two competing in separate draws. Sophomore Julia Camblor and Junior Ashlee Narker will represent one Cyclone pair, while Sophomore Mari Paz Alberto Vilar and North Texas transfer Stanislava Shulzhenko will represent the other.
Each pair will play a doubles match against another school, and then play singles matches against the same pair. The pair that wins at least two of the three matches (doubles, singles, singles) will advance in the compass bracket.
The tournament begins Friday, Sept. 12 and lasts through Sunday, Sept. 14.
