Kicking Off
After seeing its last scheduled match canceled, Iowa State will return to action after ten days off as it heads east to take on the 11th-ranked Hawkeyes Thursday evening. Thursday's match will be the first leg of the 2025-26 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series – a series in which the Cyclones have won in three of the last four years.
Iowa State remains unbeaten through its first three contests of the season, earning a win and a pair of draws. That's the latest a Cyclone squad has been unbeaten since 2013. August of 2013 also marks the last unbeaten month by an ISU soccer squad (3-0).
No. 11 Iowa weathered a difficult start to the season, downing No. 6 Arkansas on the road before falling to No. 7 TCU at home. The Hawkeyes, who made the Sweet Sixteen last year, are looking to use early-season momentum to build off last year's season.
