Terrell Named To Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State defensive end Isaac Terrell has been named to the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list, awarded annually by the Maxwell Football Club to the most outstanding defensive player in college football.

A senior transfer from Washington State, Terrell was the 2025 Pac-12 Conference Top Defensive Line Performer.

He put together the best season of his career playing under Cyclone head coach Jimmy Rogers and defensive coordinator Jesse Bobbit in 2025. The Lehi, Utah native compiled 28 tackles with team-highs of 12 tackles for loss and seven sacks. He also forced one fumble, batted down one pass and recorded six quarterback hurries and a safety as a junior.

Playing at No. 4 Ole Miss, a College Football Playoff qualifier, Terrell dominated the action with a career-best four tackles for loss, including two sacks and a forced fumble.
