The 2026 Cyclones
Rachel Van Gorp's defense was on full display totaling 30 digs at TTU and 23 vs. UCF on her way to earning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 29 for the second time this season. Van Gorp leads the Big 12 averaging 4.63 digs per set this season.
Nayeli Ti'a and Nayeli Gonzalez once again were powerhouses in the opening week of Big 12 play as Ti'a had 39 kills and Gonzalez 31. Ti'a had back-to-back 20-point matches with 22.0 points at TTU and 21.5 vs. UCF.
The Opponents
Iowa State leads the Arizona series 2-1, while the ISU vs. Arizona State series is tied at 2-2. In 2025, the Cyclones hosted both teams and beat Arizona 3-0 and Arizona State 3-2. It was ASU's only Big 12 loss in 2025.
