Turning Point of the Match
The Cyclones were on the offensive attack throughout Sunday's match, piling up a 22-17 advantage in shots, including six on goal, but found themselves down 1-0 with fewer than five minutes to play. Texas Tech had notched a goal by Carly Wickenheiser in the final seconds of the first half that looked like it would be the difference. However, freshman defender Shea Sullivan played a beautiful ball into the box and found the feet of a streaking Hannah Cade at the far post. Cade buried the chance for her first goal of the season to tie the match with the clock showing 86:52.
Cyclone Game Ball Goes to…
Shea Sullivan. The freshman made her first start as a Cyclone and played a career-high 96 minutes on Sunday. She tallied a shot on goal, and came up with the play of the day. Sullivan dribbled down the left side of the field and played a perfect cross into the box from 25 yards out. The ball could not have been placed any better, as Cade put it in the back of the net for the equalizer.

Coach Speak
"It's frustrating," head coach Tony Minatta said. "We put it all out there to win and it was difficult to not come away with it. The ball that Shea put in was brilliant. A driven ball back across the goal is what we've been trying to get into our attack from those outside backs. Just the whole set-up and timing of it, they never quit. That they found the energy in the last three minutes to do that was awesome.
On Deck
