AMES, Iowa -Â Iowa State opens Big 12 competition against No. 1 Oklahoma this weekend, the Cyclones' first home games of the year. The series schedule has been adjusted to a 4 p.m. start time Friday and a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

- The Cyclones are coming off a 3-1 defeat to Nebraska Wednesday in Lincoln. The Cyclones led through six and a half innings before a three-run homer put the Huskers in front in the bottom of the sixth.
- Mikayla Ramos' 145 career RBIs rank third in Iowa State history. The senior had back-to-back 50-plus RBI seasons entering her final campaign. Ramos hit .500 and drove in seven runs in Hawaii.
- ISU has two of the nation's top pitchers in strikeouts per seven innings. Saya Swain (9.8) and Jaiden Ralston (9.2) both rank among the top-40 nationally.
