AMES, Iowa – Iowa State now turns to postseason with the men and women taking on Big 12 Championships hosted by Kansas.

Action begins Thursday and continues through Saturday in Lawrence. Cyclones start with the decathlon at 11:30 a.m. ESPN+ will broadcast each day.
At 2025 indoor conference, the men took fourth with 82 points, the highest indoor point total since 2020. Three men and women were crowned champions; Rachel Joseph (400m), Emanuel Galdino (1,000m) and Dugion Blackman (600y).
Last season at outdoor conference, ISU had champions in the men's shot put (Cam Jones), men's 1,500m (Ezekiel Rop), men's 10,000m (Sanele Masondo) and women's steeple (Janette Schraft). The men swept the 1,500m and finished 1-2 in the 10K, aiding Iowa State to a third-place finish in the overall team standings.

The Cyclones closed regular season at the Cyclone Twilight and ISU made eight edits to the top 10 program lists, led by Brooklyn Sandvig sprinting to two No. 2 marks. The sophomore clocked 11.49 in the 100m and 23.39 in the 200m, with both times being .03 or less seconds off the school records.
Following conference, qualifiers for NCAA West Prelims will be announced and will compete May 28-31 as Texas A&M hosts.
