Seven of the 15 performances that contributed to the ranking were set at the Cyclone Open.
The performances included Braden Goellner's 7-3 (2.21m) clearance in the high jump to rank third both nationally and in Iowa State indoor history. Three broke four minutes in the mile, led by Emanuel Galdino's 3:55.84 and Devan Kipyego's 3:56.37, both under the previous program record. Makayla Clark also took down a school record with her time of 1:18.55 in the 600-yard run. In total, ISU set nine top 10 program performances.
